1 – Purpose
These general terms and conditions of sale are intended to define the contractual relations between Matter-Style Barbara Masternak, located at Dorfstrasse 139 in 3928 Randa, Switzerland – a company registered in Swiss Commercial Register under the number CH-600.1.016.635-6 and publisher of the website www.matterstyle.ch – and any natural or legal person wishing to make a purchase via the Matter Style website, hereinafter referred to as the Client.
The acquisition of a property through this site implies an unreserved acceptance by the Customer of these general terms and conditions of sale.
Matter Style reserves the right to modify its general terms and conditions of sale at any time. In this case, the applicable conditions will be those in force on the date of the order by the Customer.
2 – Characteristics of the proposed properties
The products sold are those listed in the catalog published on the Matter Style website. These products are available for sale within the limits of available stocks. The characteristics of the products as well as the photos visible on the site are given only as an indication. The photographs in the catalog are as accurate as possible but cannot ensure perfect similarity with the product offered, particularly with regard to colours and cannot have any contractual value. In case of unavailability of a product, we will inform you as soon as possible.
3 – Rates
Matter-Style reserves the right to modify its prices at any time and without notice, it being understood, however, that the price appearing in the catalog on the day of the order will be the only one applicable to the Customer. Matter-Style reserves the right not to deliver products whose prices are incorrect, but undertakes to inform its customers of a price difference and to offer alternative products. Matter-Style can carry out sales or promotions on its catalog. These offers are only valid during the period of publication on the site and cannot be requested retroactively.
Purchase vouchers or discounts distributed on or via partner sites are only valid under the conditions set out in the offer. These purchase orders or discounts can only be used when ordering and must be used in the field provided for this purpose. Under no circumstances may a voucher or discount be applied retroactively.
The Customer has the possibility to have his order delivered to his home: in this case delivery costs will be added to the prices of the products and will be displayed in the “shopping basket” section. Shipping costs are calculated according to the weight and volume of the order as well as the delivery address.
4 – Orders and closing of the sale
The Customer, who wishes to purchase a product on the Matter-Style website, must go through the various stages of the purchasing process (summary of the products chosen and placed in the basket, identification, choice of address and delivery method and choice of payment and settlement method under the conditions provided). The confirmation of the order implies acceptance of these terms and conditions of sale, recognition of having full knowledge of them and waiver of the right to invoke its own terms and conditions of purchase or other conditions. All the data provided, and the recorded confirmation will be worth proof of the transaction. The confirmation will be worth signature and acceptance of the operations carried out. Matter-Style will communicate by e-mail the details of the recorded order.
The price of purchases made on the website www.matterstyle.ch is due at the time of ordering, without discount; payment is made by credit card (Visa ) Twint.
Matter-Style does not have access to confidential information relating to the means of payment.
5 – Deliveries
Deliveries are made to the delivery address specified by the customer during the ordering process.
Matter-Style delivers to all countries served by the Swiss Post. Contact us in case of special delivery request.
The amount of shipping costs is indicated in the “shopping cart” section and is subject to the approval of the Customer before the validation of each order; the amount may vary depending on the weight of your package and the country of delivery.
- 5.1. Shipping costs
Delivery costs are charged to the expense of the purchaser and calculated according to weight and country.

Orders are processed and dispatched on weekdays from Monday to Friday. Any taxes, customs duties and inland delivery costs for deliveries abroad will be billed to the CUSTOMER.
Deliveries outside Switzerland are made on a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) basis. The recipient must pay the carrier the import taxes (VAT of the recipient country), as well as all customs duties and charges relating to his order and which will be requested upon delivery.
- 5.2. Delivery times
Delivery times apply once the payment has been registered with our accounting department, the package has been prepared and deposited with our delivery service provider, for products in stock. For products that are not in stock, it is necessary to add an approximate delay of 6 weeks corresponding to the average manufacturing time of Matter-Style jewelry. Shipping takes place when all the items in the same order are in stock.
The delivery times are those of the Swiss Post, namely:
– 2 to 3 working days for Switzerland
– 7 to 14 working days for other countries, depending on the conditions of the local post office Matter-Style undertakes to inform the customer of any delay in delivery but cannot be held liable for any compensation on this account.
- 5.3. Delivery Terms and Conditions
In the event of damage during transport, the reasoned protest must be made within three days of delivery. The Customer must contact Matter-Style Customer Service by email for any complaint.
The claim must be completed with photos of the damage and the damaged part(s).
6 – Warranties in case of defects and retraction
- 6.1 Commercial guarantees
All Matter-Style jewelry is guaranteed for 1 year from the date of purchase. The warranty applies under normal conditions of use. Jewelry is waterproof, but it is not recommended to let it immerse for too long and avoid wearing it when bathing, swimming in the sea or swimming pool.
The warranty does not apply if the jewelry has been broken, torn or scratched.
The warranty does not apply if the jewelry has been repaired by a service provider other than those approved by Matter-Style.
The warranty does not cover the cleaning of jewelry.
The Customer must ensure that he provides the jewelry warranty certificate and the store receipt so that the warranty can be applied.
- 6.2 Legal Guarantees
In the event of non-conformity of a product sold, Matter-Style’s warranty is limited to the return of the product and the exchange or refund of the product, provided that the Customer complies with the conditions and deadlines indicated in the following paragraph.
Regardless of the existence of a non-conformity of the product, the Customer, a non-professional natural person, has a withdrawal period of 14 days from the delivery of his order to notify Matter-Style of the return of the product for exchange or refund.
The jewelry must be returned in its original packaging and must not have been worn.
Returns of orders shipped within Switzerland and outside Switzerland are the responsibility of the Customer.
The Customer must attach to his shipment the product, the number of the order concerned by the return, the description of the product or products concerned by the return, as well as a request for an exchange or refund.

The refund is made within 15 days of the registration of your return. It is carried out directly according to the payment method used by the Customer when placing his order (credit card or TWINT).
Orders placed on the Matter-Style website cannot be returned or exchanged in the shops.
7 – Warranties and Liability
Matter-Style has taken all necessary precautions to ensure both the reliability of information and secure access to its website www.matterstyle.ch
However, Matter-Style cannot, under any circumstances, guarantee the total absence of material errors, technical deficiencies or other unintended problems.
Similarly, no guarantee can be given as to the compatibility of the site with your particular needs and uses.
Matter-Style cannot be held liable for any damage whatsoever related to the use of its site, and disclaims any responsibility for the information contained in other sites that may be linked to its own by a hypertext link or any other means.
8 – Intellectual Property Rights
All data of any nature whatsoever, and in particular texts, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio or video clips, trademarks, software, appearing on the Site, are necessarily protected by copyright, trademark law and all other intellectual property rights.
Matter-Style, in its capacity as publisher of the Site, grants the User a private, non-collective and non-exclusive right of use of the said content.
The User undertakes in these conditions not to reproduce, summarize, modify, alter or redistribute, without the prior express authorization of the publisher, any text, title, application, software, logo, logo, brand, information or illustration, for any purpose other than strictly private, which excludes any representation for professional purposes or mass redistribution.

11 – Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The relationship between Matter-Style and the Client is governed by Swiss law.
For any dispute relating to the relationship between Matter-Style and the client, the place of jurisdiction is Visp.
